Alta Laferne Bosh, age 87, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at 2:40 AM in the Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Ironton, Ohio on May 9, 1928 to the late George E. and Maxine May (White) Wells.
Alta married Vernon E. Bosh in Greenup, Kentucky in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1994.
The lifelong homemaker is survived by cfffour sons; Rodney E. (Antonia) Bosh, Billy (Mandee Rawlins) Bosh, Ricky Bosh, & Gerald (Jenny) Bosh all of Marion, OH., two daughters; Patsy (Jerry) Bradberry of Robinson, IL. & Melinda (Charles) Stevens of London, OH., two brothers; Billy (Becky) Wells of Fontana, CA. & Roger Wells of Utah, one sister; Linda (Bill) Cantrell of Marion, OH., 25 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Alta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers; Bobby & George Wells and two sisters; Luella Wells & Carolyn Marks.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 PM. Rev. Marcellus deOliveira will officiate and burial will follow on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the Price Cemetery.
