Janis L. Culp, age 66, of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 at her residence.
She was born March 27, 1949 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Everett and Marjorie (Hall) Thompson.
On June 24, 1995 she married Michael L. Culp.
Janice was a longtime resident of Marion where she was employed at J-Lenco for several years.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Culp of Marion, OH; her children, Michael (Brenda) Furniss of Marion, OH, Brenda Johnson of Worthington, OH; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three brothers, Gerald Thompson of Marion, OH, Roger (Erica) Thompson of Marion, OH, Don (Viola) Thompson of Midland, TX; three sisters, Kathy (Lloyd) Brown of Marion, OH, Dot (Jim) Phelps of Marion, OH, Lori Timmons of Marion, OH. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Thompson and Kenneth D. Thompson.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 from 12 – 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor John Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice in Janis’s memory.
