Ruth Jordan Fulton Terry, 88, of Marion

Ruth Jordan Fulton TerryRuth Jordan Fulton Terry, many knew her by her nickname of Madam, age 88 of Marion, Ohio, lost her eight year battle with Dementia August 8, 2015.

She was born November 24, 1926 in Fraizers Bottom, W. Va. to the late Okey and Rena (Means) Jordan.

Ruth was retired from Ranco in Delaware, Ohio. She enjoyed bowling, card playing ceramics, crocheting, sewing, yard work, and camping in her later years. She also loved her Dachhshund of eleven years, Molly.

Ruth leaves behind two daughters; Clara Wood of Marion, Ohio, Diana (Carlos ‘Dean’) Rhodes of Marion, Ohio, four sons; Blaine Fulton, Jr. of Marion, Ohio, Robert (Patty) Fulton of Marion, Ohio, Thomas Terry of Marion, Ohio, and Charles Terry of Ashley, Ohio. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and twenty great great grandchildren survive as well as a sister, Rosella McNeal of Delaware, Ohio, and four brothers; Raymond Jordan of Delaware, Ohio, Okey ‘Lucky’ Jordan, Jr. of Leonardsburg, Ohio, Franklin ‘Buck’ Jordan of Cardington, Ohio, and Paul ‘Pete’ Jordan of Crossville, TN. Several nieces and nephews and extended family survive also.

Besides her parents Ruth was preceded in death by the fathers of her children; Blaine ‘Red’ Fulton, Charles ‘Henry’ Terry, Sr., two daughters; Patricia Borst, Mary Lou, a son, Michael Terry, two great great grandchildren, a sister, Aouieda Byas, and four brothers; James, Thomas, Bernard and William.

The family would like to thank Special Caregivers, Marla, Brenda, and Deanne, and also a thank you to Ohio Health Home Care Hospice.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday August 13, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dwight Hord. Burial will follow in the Green Mound Cemetery in Kilbourne, Ohio in Delaware County. The Pallbearers will be grandsons; Kenny, Eric, Jimmy, Donnie, Brian, Keith, Doug, and great grandsons; Kyle, Donnie, Jr., Devon, and Domique. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday August 12, 2015 from 6 to 8 P.M.
