Jenovah "Joey" Johnson age 31 of Marion, Ohio passed away at his residence Sunday, February 6, 2011.
He was born June 15, 1979 in Marion, Ohio to Hockless Johnson and Julia Zeisler.
Joey graduated from Harding High School in 1997, he enjoyed playing softball and soccer, and for several years coached at the Marion Recreation Department. He was employed as a machine operator for United Rotory for eight years.
He is survived by his mother, Julia Zeisler of Marion, his father, Hockless Johnson of Marion, daughter, Jenalyn Jole Johnson of Kenton, OH., his sister, Phoenix M. Johnson of Columbus, OH., three nephews, Michael Johnson, Ricco McGhee, Karon McGhee, a niece, Mayla Johnson, grandparents, Don and Marie Zeisler of Marion, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive,
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Leo and Sofronia Johnson Sr.
The funeral service for Joey will be Monday, February 14, 2011 @ 10 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Chaplain Daniel Kiger officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 3 to 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
