Marjorie June Chard, age 86, of Marion, Ohio peacefully passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 1:16 AM in the Presidential Center of Marion.
She was born in Marion, Ohio to the late Marvin and Geneva (Howison) Hornbeck.
Marjorie married Glenn V. Chard of Green Camp, Ohio on February 16, 1946 in Marion, Ohio.
She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Marion, Ohio. She was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed many joyous times with her family and her outings with her church family.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers: Jimmy Hornbeck and Dwight Hornbeck.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn V. Chard; two sons: Danny (Debra) Chard and Delbert Chard; two daughters: Tracey (Stan) Armstrong and Nancy Spriggs; three sisters: Marian Wortman, Thirza Shaw and Bonnie Hamblin, numerous grand children and great-grandchildren, and a few great-great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Monday, August 24th, 2015 starting at 6 pm to 8 pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 25th , 2015 at 2 pm in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Green Camp Cemetery.
