Opal Irene Jolliff, age 91, of Marion went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at 11:30 AM from the Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Buffalo, West Virginia on December 7, 1923, the daughter of Lloyd and Elsie (Bumgarner) Riffee.
Opal married William Jolliff on October 18, 1941 and he preceded her in death in Marion, Ohio on November 19, 1994.
She was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church and was employed for 25 years in the sales department of Quality Farm & Fleet before her retirement.
The longtime Marion resident is survived by four sons; John William Jolliff of Bellevue, OH., Ronald W. (Jane) Jolliff of Columbus, OH., Donald E. Jolliff of Van Nuys, CA., and James (Gloria) Jolliff of Bellevue, Oh., two sisters; Lily Jolliff of Marion, OH. & Edith Roush of Mt. Gilead, OH., 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; William, a brother; Dale Riffee, and two sisters; Alice King and JoAnn Moguli.
Friends may call Wednesday, August 26, 2015, from 4-7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Pastor Bill Middleton will conduct the service.
