Joel T. Reeve age 56 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at The Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born May 5, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Jack V. and June E. (Varner) Reeve.
On June 6, 1981 he married Sheryl L. (Zug).
Joel graduated from Phillips University in 1982 with a degree in piano performance. He was a member of Central Christian Church, was a piano tuner and taught piano from 1983-2003. He was also a member of a rock band, The Voice from 1983-1988.
He is survived by his wife, Sheryl Reeve of Marion, OH., two sons, Tyler A. Reeve of Casablanca, Morocco and Aaron M. Reeve of Marion, OH., his brother, Jay A. (Katherine Peterson) Reeve of Sioux Falls, SD., his sister, Jill A. (Tom) Kirk of Carmel, IN., mother and father in law, Hal and Millie Zug, sisters in law, Amy (Bill) Wise and Ann Zug, nephews, Kerry Kirk, Kevin Kirk, Dillon Zug, Bryton Wise, Garrett Wise and a great niece, Journey Kirk.
Visitation for Joel will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Memorial services will be Sunday, August 30, 2015 @ 4 PM at Central Christian Church, 421 Mount Vernon Ave. with Pastor Merlyn Winters, Pastor Larry Miracle and Pastor Cynthia Klingemeier officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
