Investigators believe a man found dead in Crawford County might be connected to a robbery that happened late Sunday in Strongsville.
Michael Collins Jr., 34, of Lakewood, was found in the passenger seat of a 2013 Jeep Patriot just after 2 a.m. in Bucyrus. Collins was found with a gunshot wound to the head, State Highway Patrol Lt. Craig Cvetan said.
The driver told investigators that Collins committed suicide, but his death remains under investigation, Cvetan said.
Investigators believe Collins might have been involved with a robbery that happened hours earlier in Strongsville, according to the Mansfield News Journal. Cvetan directed questions about the robbery investigation to the Strongsville Police Department, which did not respond to a request for comment Monday.
