Annual Heifer Festival returns this Saturday in Richwood

Heifer FestivalThe 11th annual Heifer Festival will be held at the North Union Elementary School in Richwood, Ohio from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, September 26, 2015. As usual, the event includes food at low prices, games and prizes for the kids, entertainers, over 20 vendors and craftpeople, live animals, and demonstrations such as dog obedience.

There is no admission nor parking charge.

All funds raised are donated to Heifer International, a world-wide organization that sends animals and helpers to locations around the world. Organizers say this is the only festival of its kind supporting Heifer International.

Last year the event raised over $9,500.

The event includes great food and entertainment, kids’ games and prizes, real animals, dog obedience demonstrations and pet activities.
