Mary V. Wilcox age 90 of Marion passed away after a long illness Monday, February 21, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.
Born in Denver Colorado, October 4, 1920 to the late Joseph H. and Mary J. (McBreen) Purcell.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Bret H. Wilcox.
She retired as City Clerk for the City of Marion for over twenty five years.
Survivors include her daughter Ann Carlin of Marion, two grandaughters Tracy Warren of Avon, Ohio, Kathleen Purves of Farmington, Michigan, three great-grandchildren, and one brother C. William Purcell of Las Vegas, Nev..
A Memorial Mass will be held at St Mary Church at 11: 00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 with Father Michael Nimocks officiating. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to The Maryknoll Society P.O. Box 304, Maryknoll, New York 10545.
