John Wesley Boyd, age 31, of Marion passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at his residence.
He was born on November 23, 1983 in Marion, Ohio to Wendell Ray and Cynthia Sue (Newell) Boyd who survive in Marion.
John was a 2002 graduate of Harding High School. He participated in mixed marshal arts fighting and for 15 years was restaurant manager at Lee’s Famous Receipt Chicken.
John is survived by his fiance’; Tiffani Rose of Marion, OH., three daughters; Bryanna Marie Hartman, Ella Nicole Weslee, & Emerson Claire Hildreth all of Marion, OH., a brother; Zachary (Marah) Boyd of Delaware, OH., a sister;; Christina Rae (Shane) Boyd-Edler of Marion, OH., grandmother; Helen “Kitty” Newell of Marion, OH., a niece, and two nephews.
Friends may call at the Trinity Baptist Church 244 South Main St. Marion, on Thursday, November 5, 2015, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Pastor Samuel Newell Sr. will officiate the funeral service in the church on Friday at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Marion Cemetery.
