Harold Murray Hemminger, Sr., age 77, passed away unexpectedly at his Marion residence on Saturday, November 14, 2015. He was born on July 17, 1938 to the late Ford and Mary Jane (Hunt) Hemminger in Kansas, Ohio.
Harold married his wife, Becky Ralph, on February 12, 1972 and enjoyed 45 years of marriage.
Harold was a hard worker throughout his life. He worked about thirty years at Marion Power Shovel and was still working at Buckeye Industrial. Harold loved to garden, watch OSU Football, and his truck. He truly loved his wife of 45 years, children, and grandchildren dearly, especially his bulldog, Archie.
Harold is survived by his four sons: Jonathan Hemminger of Marion, Harold M. (Brittany) Hemminger, Jr. of Marion, Daniel Hemminger of Marion and Brian Hemminger of Clearwater, FL; one daughter: Jennifer (David, Sr.) Rich of Marion; nine grandchildren: Gage Hemminger, Kayla (Seth Sturgell) Hemminger, Devin Hemminger, Austin and Haley “Bug” Baer, Allisyn Hemminger, Dave Rich, Jr., Miley Rich and Claude Saunders; one great-grandchild: Carter Sturgell.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an aunt: Troas Folk of Findlay, Ohio.
