Nancy Elizabeth Jewell age 85 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Thursday January 7, 2016 in Lawrenceburg, Tn.
She was born August 1, 1930 in Magnetic Springs, Ohio, Union County to the late Irven and Bertha E. Myers.
On December 31, 1949 in Marion she married John R. Jewell and he preceded her in death on December 9, 2005.
Nancy was a member of the Richland Rd. Church of Christ in Marion. She also was a 1948 graduate of Marion Harding High School and a 1949 graduate of the Marion Business College.
Nancy leaves behind a daughter and three sons; Randi Kay (Robert) Davis of Lawrenceburg, Tn, David A. Jewell of Marion, Ohio, Gary L. (Lynn) Jewell of LaFayette, Ga., and Ronald I. (Jane) Jewell of Marion, Ohio. Twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren survive as well.
Besides her parents and her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon E. Myers.
Funeral services will be on Friday January 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Richland Rd. Church of Christ. Officiating the service will be Russell Howard. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery in Magnetic Springs, Ohio. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday January 14, 2016 from 4 to 8 P.M.
