Millicent “Millie” Iola (Riethman) Zug, 78, of Marion

Millicent “Millie” Iola (Riethman) ZugMillicent “Millie” Iola (Riethman) Zug, age 78, of Marion, Ohio, formerly of Ravenna, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Presidential Genesis Health Care Center.

She was born March 17, 1937, in Ravenna, Ohio, to the late John Howard and Iola Mary (Burgett) Riethman.

On July 26, 1958, she married Hal W. Zug in Ravenna, Ohio.

Millie was most recently a pastor at Central Christian Church in Marietta, OH and enjoyed being a Spiritual Life Counselor and Food Service Director for Camp Christian. She also served various roles as a teacher throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband, Hal W. Zug of Marion, OH, her three daughters, Sheryl Lynn (Joel, deceased) Reeve of Marion, OH, Ann Marie Zug of Grove City, OH, Amy Jo (Bill) Wise of Grove City, OH, five grandsons, Tyler Andrew Reeve, Aaron Mathew Reeve, Bryton Michael Wise, Garrett Heiland Wise, Dillon Anthony Zug, her two sisters, Margaret Ann Swauger of Brimfield, OH, Elaine Anne Scarlett of Marion, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Roberta Romig and her brother, David John Riethman.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 22, 2016, from 4 – 7 PM at Central Christian Church, 421 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, OH, 43302. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 1PM at Central Christian Church with Rev. Merlyn Winters officiating, assisted by Rev. Thomas Madden and Rev. John Romig. Burial will take place at a later date.
