Carol Jean McDonald, 73, of Marion

Carol Jean McDonald, age 73 of Marion, passed away at her residence on Sunday January 24, 2016 surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 19, 1942 to the late Glenn and Helen (Schroll) Sly in Marion, Ohio.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Carol is survived by her two daughters: Susan Friley and Lynn Taylor; one son: Frank McDonald; three brothers: Glenn (Geri) Sly, Robert (Nyoka) Sly and Dwayne Sly; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation hours will be held at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, 122 West Columbia Street, Marion, Ohio, starting at 2pm to 4pm on Saturday January 30, 2016.
