Fred J. Yeager, age 61, of Marion, Ohio, passed away at Marion General Hospital on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
He was born July 19, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Fred Yeager and Joann (Steinberger) Yeager Byers.
On March 21, 1986, he married Mary K. Schwab.
Fred was a member of Manna Ministries House of Prayer, and he worked for Cummins Facility Services as a recycling operator for five years.
He is survived by his wife Mary K. Yeager; his son John F. (Stacy) Yeager of Marion, Ohio; his three grandchildren Blake, Sarah, and Kaylynn Yeager of Marion, Ohio; his brother Doug (Tammy) Yeager of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; his sisters Evelyn Belcher of Marion, Ohio, and Lou Yeager of Idaho; and step-brother Dan Cross of Marion, Ohio. Also survived by numerous family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son Patrick R. Schwab and his sisters Mona Williams and Gail Yeager.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Services will follow at 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Tom Beckel, Naomi Beckel, and Terry Moore officiating.
