Carolyn Mae Hendricks, age 63, of Marion passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016, at her residence.
She was born in Marion, Ohio on June 11, 1952 to Richard E. and Janet (Koehler) Smith. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Marion.
Carolyn was a 1970 graduate of Harding High School. She was a member of the Marion Area Humane Society. Carolyn was employed as a clerk for the Marion County Department Human Services for 10 years.
She is survived by a son; Kipp Hendricks who lives and works in Japan, a sister; Cheryl Bailey of Wapakoneta, OH. two nephews; Nathan Bailey of Wapakoneta, OH. & Sean Bailey of Aurora, CO., and her loving cat; “Bree”.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father; Richard Smith, a niece; Nicole Bailey, and he brother-in-law; Brent Bailey.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Sunday, February 28, 2016, from 2:00 PM until service time at 3:00 PM. Pastor Dwight Hord will officiate the service and burial will take place in the Marion Cemetery on Monday at 11:00 AM.
