Bud was also a lover of golf where he loved to play with all the guys at Kings Mill several times a week and watch the sport at the professional level, especially the Masters Tournament of which he never missed a minute of coverage. One of Bud’s favorite memories was when he was stationed at Fort Gordon near Augusta, GA and attended all four rounds of the 1960 and 1961 Masters Tournament.
