Steven Ray Hughes, age 65 of Marion, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Grant Medical Center.
Steve was born on January 2, 1951 to the late David R. Hughes and Norma J. (Long) Hughes in Marion, Ohio.
Steve graduated from Elgin High School in 1970. He belonged to the Moose Lodge #889 of Marion for 14 years. He was married to Velma L. (Cox) Hughes then to Elaree (Roberts) Hughes, who survives. His Special Friend at death was Roberta Volz. He will truly be missed by family and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his father: David R. Hughes.
He is survived by his mother: Norma J. Hughes; a daughter: Julie (Wade) Huffine of Marion, OH; a brother: Larry (Susan) Hughes, a niece: Stephanie Hughes, a nephew: Ryan Hughes all of Magnolia, TX; a grandchild: Brittany Griffith and a great grandchild: Aliyah Grace Griffith.
Steve loved fishing, camping, motorcycles, restoring old cars and taking his antique car to car shows.
