Norma Jean Edmunds, 77 of Dublin, formerly of Richwood, died Wednesday morning, March 9, 2016 at the First Community Village in Upper Arlington.
She was born May 12, 1938 in Marion to the late Mervin Proctor and Leonna Mae (Wilson) Reece. She was also predeceased in 1989 by her husband, Jerry Scott Edmunds, whom she married March 24, 1973 in Richmond, Indiana; and siblings, Violet Howe, Warren “Friday” Reece, James Reece, Carol Reese and Glenn Reece.
Norma was a quiet person but loved to be around people. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, word search puzzles, and playing cards. She loved animals, especially cats. She loved spending time and talking with her daughter, Debby and her niece Karen (Mike). She was well liked by everyone she came in contact with and will be truly missed.
Surviving is her daughter, Deborah Kaye Edmunds of Columbus; a niece, Karen (Mike) Boysel of Marysville; sisters-in-law, Mabel Reece of New Carlisle and Marlene Reece of Richwood; brother-in-law, William Reese of Richwood.
Private funeral services will be held at Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12 with Pastor Joe Rhea officiating. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery.
