Wilsie Ann “Annie” McClure, age 82, of Marion, passed away Friday evening, April 1, 2016 at Marion Manor.
On January 27, 1934, Annie was born in Santa Rosa Co., FL., the daughter of the late Pearl and Helen (Sugretts) Archer. She graduated from high school in Florida and worked as a hairdresser in Marion, OH then spent many years as a retired housewife.
She is survived by two sons: Terry (Susan) McClure of Marion, Charles “Ed” McClure Jr. of Marion; three grandchildren: Brandon (Julie) McClure of Marion, Randy (Sherri) King of Marion, Brian King of Columbus; three great grandchildren: Easton and Reese McClure and Shaina King; a brother-in-law, David Ramey of Columbus; and a sister-in-law, Mary Archer of Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. McClure, and a brother, Paul Archer.
Annie’s wishes were to have no funeral services.
