The Marion Women’s Club Home will host their Spring Ladies’ Tea on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 6:00pm at their facility at 1126 East Center Street in Marion. The program will be “Marion’s Mothers” presented by Melinda Gilpin.
You are invited to join them for a lighthearted look at the tasks, expectations and daily lives of wives and mothers in Marion over time. Reminisce about the days gone by, and learn more about the role of women in our community. Gilpin said this program will make you laugh, make you think and maybe make you glad you aren’t them.
Event will include program, refreshments, and a tour of the historic Barlow Home of the Marion Women’s Club.
