Goldie Irene Brewer, age 82, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 5:55 AM in the Doctor’s West Hospital, Columbus.
She was born in Coldwater, Michigan on March 31,1934 to the late William and Melvina (Pierce) Wilson.
Goldie worked for several years as a scheduler for Con-Agra, went on to work in the shipping & receiving dept. of the Whirlpool Corp. and later retired as Co-Owner & Operator of Precision Accounting, a business she owned for over 20 years.
Goldie is survived by three daughters; Cathie (Larry) Linstedt of Marion, OH., Diana (Ian) Fairclough of Marion, OH., & Terrie (John) Ringle of Morral, OH., one sister; Diana (Don) Gragg of Sturgis, MI., four grandchildren; Scott (Erynn) Ringle, Stephanie (Brian) Shoemaker, Jeff (Amber) Linstedt, & Hollie (Russell) Beard, and seven great grandchildren; Cole Ringle, Hannah & Jacob Shoemaker, Zane & Briggs Linstedt, and Josie & Dorothy Beard.
She was preceded in death by two brothers; Paul & Charlie Savchuk and two sisters; Adah Lukazcek & Alice Hennig.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Pastor Brett Cornelius will conduct the funeral service in the funeral home on Friday, June 3, 2016, at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
