Betty J. Wade age 86 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.
She was born December 14, 1929 in Cardington, Ohio to the late Harry and Della (Sulser) Fetter.
Betty was of member of The First United Church of Christ, was a member of the Sunshine Circle, Red Hat Society and the Marion Senior Center. She was employed at Whirlpool Corporation for 30-plus years as a secretary. Betty had two children but she raised a family. She accepted everyone for who they were and believed that everybody had some good in them. She loved life and everybody who came into her life.
She is survived by her son, Terry Manley of Upper Sandusky, OH., a step-son, Mike Wade of Marion, OH., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.P. Manley, Sr.; her second husband, Harold Wade; her daughter, Linda Lewis; her step-daughter, Pat Manley; her step-daughter, Carole Davis; and her step-son, J.P. Manley, Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 10 AM to 1 PM at The First United Church of Christ, 326 S. Prospect St. Funeral services to follow at 1 PM with Rev. Gale Green officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens.
