Georgina M.S. Philpott age 69 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at her residence, she was a long time resident of Parkersburg, W.Va.
She was born June 16, 1942 in London, Ontario, Canada to Cornielus and Myrtle (Joyce) Donkervoort.
On July 19, 1958 in London, Ontario, Canada she married Dennis Philpott, he preceded her in death on May 1, 1995.
Georgina is survived by her mother, Myrtle Tait of Glencoe, Alberta; Canada, daughter,Christina Phillpott of Marion, OH., Alan Keith Philpott of Parkersburg, W.VA., sisters, Deborah (Mark) Archer of Mount Brydges, Ontario; Canada, Heather (Ted) Rowe of Glencoe, Ontario; Canada, brother, Rick Tait of New Bury, Ontario: Canada, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cornielus Donkervoort, and her son, Dennis Philpott Jr.
The Funeral Service for Georgina will be Thursday, June 30, 2011 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Brugger officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 12 – 1 PM at the funeral home.
