Bennie Ray "Bill" Madison Sr. age 72 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born November 5, 1937 in Kona, Ky., to the late Curt and Grace (Adams) Madison.
On may 29, 1965 he married Donna J. (Safford) Madison, she preceded him in death in 2001.
Bennie was a member of Local Labors Union #574 since 1968, the Nevada Masonic Lodge, was a huge fan of Blue Grass Music and enjoyed wheeling and dealing for anything.
He was the father of three children, Bennie Ray Madison Jr. of Marion, OH., JoElle Marie Madison of Marion, OH., Julie Ann (Bill) Feaver of Columbus, OH., Grandfather of four grandchildren and two great grandchildren,a sister, Netty (Larry) Nelson of Fleming-Neon, KY., and also numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Donna Madison, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Services for Bennie Sr. will be Sunday, June 6, 2010 4 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, burial will take place at a later date at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 12 – 4 PM.
