Kathryn Laedene Manley, 72, of Marion, passed away Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010 at her home.
She was born August 15, 1937 in West Union, West Virginia to the late Oliver and Minda (Kimball) Leasure. On August 8, 1958 in Painesville, Ohio she married Robert Manley.
Robert passed away in Marion on November, 16, 1990.
She loved her grandchildren, and cherished the time she spent with them.
Kathryn is survived by her sons, Albert (Becky) Manley, and Robert (Michele) Manley; daughter, Deborah Sims; grandchildren, Lisa, Teri, Robert Micheal, James, Albert, Nicholas, Christopher, Brandon, Benjamin, Kimberly, Oliver, Curtis, Alex, Laura, Lana, Robert Leroy, and Sean; 22 great grandchildren; and brothers, Robert “Bud” Leasure, and Oliver “Ollie” Leasure.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Oliver Lenard Manley; sisters, Dorotha Leasure, and Alma Reese; and son-in-law, Reggie Sims.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 7, 2010 at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM with an hour visitation prior to the service. Pastor Dwight Hord will officiate the service. Burial will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery in Brush Ridge.
