Donald D. Scheitler age 73 of Upper Sandusky formerly of Prospect passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at his residence.
Born April 13, 1938 in Marion to the late Harold and Latisha (Hunt) Scheitler.
Donald was a member of the Teamsters Union and worked at Matlack in Delaware. He was a life member of AMVETS.
Survivors include his wife Marlene "Strawser" Shumaker, three sons Randall Scheitler of Prospect, Douglas Scheitler of Marion, Richard Scheitler of Upper Sandusky, one daughter Lori Pennington of Marion, one sister Lavonne Vance of Marion, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in Prospect Cemetery with Rev. Russell Howard officiating.
