Peggy P. Spradling age 83 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Friday October 21, 2011 at the Partners of Marion.
She was born April 16, 1928 in Salyersville, Ky. to the late Merill Patrick Adams and Ruth (Adams) Lauffer.
On July 11 1948 in Greenup, Ky., she married Earl D. Spradling and he preceded her in death in 1976 in Marion, Ohio.
The family moved to Marion from Columbus, Ohio in 1963. She worked at the L&K home office from 1976 until 1985. Prior to this, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the former Greenwood United Methodist Church, Victory Bible Class Sunday School, Wednesday Morning Bible Study and United Methodist Women.
Peggy is survived by a daughter Toni (David) Kimberling of Marion, Ohio, three grandchildren, Megan and Traci Kimberling, Jason Stanley and two great-grandchildren, Austin S. Stanley and Gage M. Kimberling.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Lynn Stanley in 1986.
Peggy was always a loving and caring person to everyone she met. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. Peggy always put everyone's needs before her own.
Funeral Services for Peggy will be Tuesday October 25, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Joe Rhea. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Monday October 24, 2011 from 5 to 8 P.M.
