Mary Evelyn Long, age 67 of Mt. Gilead, passed away Friday evening November 11th, 2011 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born October 22nd, 1944 in Galion as the daughter of the late Melvin L. & Edith (Paxton) Staup.
Mary was employed for many years at Ohio Aurondale Plastics in Mt. Gilead. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed reading.
Mary is survived by her four children; Glen Daugherty of Mt. Gilead, Cliff (Patty) Daugherty of Galion, Patricia (Mike) Nichols of Caledonia and Betty Anderson of Mt. Gilead . Five Grandchildren; Sarah Arthur, Johnny Authur II, Michael Nichols Jr., Cory Nichols & Derrick Daugherty. Two Great Grandchildren; Allie & Lauren Nichols. Two Sisters; Pat Clarkson of Marion and Helen Rutlidge of Cardington. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Graveside Services for Mary will be held at 2:00 P. M. Thursday November 17th, 2011 in the Caledonia Cemetery . Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home in Caledonia on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00.
