Gerald L. Maxwell age 69 of Prospect, Ohio, passed away Wednesday December 7, 2011 at his residence.
He was born August 24, 1942 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Gerald A. and Violet (Rife) Conklin Maxwell. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, James Conklin.
On June 8, 1970 in Marion Gerald married Carolyn S. Lewis and she survives. Gerald was retired in the Tool & Dye Department with the Temple Inland Co.
He and Carolyn were involved at one time with Marion Slow Poke Antique Car Club, He was a member of The Eleven Meter Club and Gerald loved to go to Auctions. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Gerald also leaves behind two daughters and three grandchildren; Tina Marie Maxwell of Marion, Cynthia Amanda Maxwell of Prospect, and Vincent Lee Maxwell, Whitney Dawn Snyder and Alexa Nicole Longberry.
There will be a Graveside Service for Gerald on Saturday December 10, 2011 at the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens Cemetery at 10:00 A.M. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Schuring. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Friday December 9, 2011 from 5 to 8 P.M.
