Ermin Simeon Walter, age 93 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday morning December 20th, 2011 at Marion Manor.
He was born April 12th, 1918 in Bucyrus, Ohio as the son of the late Simon and Beryl (Dutcher) Walter.
Ermin was a 1936 graduate of Bucyrus High School and was former employee of Tecumseh Products where he worked as an assembler for 35 years until his retirement in 1975. He also worked his 40 acre farm in Tully Township for many years and considered it a favorite part of his life.
In August of 1938 he married the former Evelyn Hotelling. Evelyn survives him at Marion Manor.
He is also survived by two sons; David E. ( Mary) Walter of Port Clinton and Ronald L. Walter of Marion. He also leaves behind his daughter Karen Nance of Marion and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Eldon (Carol) Walter of Galion.
He was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and one grandson.
Graveside Services for Ermin will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday December 22nd, 2011 at the Chapel Heights Memorial Park with Rev. Gale Green officiating. Calling Hours will not be observed.
