Penny Candy Throckmorton age 56 of Marietta, Ga., passed away Thursday January 5, 2012 at Specialty Care of Marietta, Ga.
She was born March 3, 1955 in Marion to Clarence M. Wright who preceded her in death and Alice J. (Roberts) Wright who survives in Marion.
Penny was a graduate of Marion Harding High School, at one time worked for sixteen years at the former Food Town Grocery, and when she lived in Marion, she attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Waldo, Ohio.
Penny was also a very devoted mother, loving daughter and sister. She also was a very devoted fan and follower of her son Aaron's many sporting events throughout his life.
Besides her mother, Penny is survived by her son, Aaron Throckmorton of Douglasville, Ga. Also besides her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Wilcox.
Funeral Services will be Thursday January 12, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dwight Hord. Burial will follow in the Waldo Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday January 11, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M.
