Carolyn L. Prater, age 73, of Marion, died January 30, 2012 at Riverside Hospital.
She was born to the late Charles A. Robinson SR. and Goldie E. (Soutward) Robinson on April 1, 1938.
Carolyn married Charles A. Prater on January 12, 1995; he preceded her in death on December 10, 1995.
She worked at Carousel Hot Dog for over 15 years and later worked Wal-Mart.
Carolyn is survived by her three sons: John A. Prater, James E. (Cheryl) Prater, and Charles A. Prater JR all of Marion. In addition to her sons, she is survived by four grandchildren: Daniel, James, and Misty and two great-grandchildren: Damian and Noah. She is also survived by two brothers: Charles H. (Karen) Robinson of Lima, OH and Harley F. (Vicky) Robinson of Harrisville, MI and two sisters: Helen (Robert) Marks of Ceaderville, MI and Virginia (Larry) Whitacker of Marion.
A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Friday, February 3, 2012 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Rev. Richard Prater officiating. Burial will follow at Claridon Cemetery.
