Alberta Ralston age 89 of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, February 6, 2012.
She was born May 25, 1922 in Magoffin County, Ky., to the late Dona and Maude (Blanton) Conley.
On May 25, 1944 she married Mack Ralston, he preceded her in death on February 26, 1975.
Alberta retired after thirty plus years at Tecumseh Products Co. as a machine operator.
She is survived by a daughter, Mona (Dave) Simkins of Gahanna, OH., one son, Kyle (Karen Miller) Ralston of Marion, OH. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Creighton Ralston and Max Ralston. Alberta leaves behind two daughters-in-law, Deb and Brenda Ralston. Also, she is survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, four brothers, Ray Conley of Marion, OH., Guy Conley of Enon, OH., Hubert "Doc" Conley of Marion, OH., Arbie Conley of Falcon, KY., three sisters, Darlene Gevedon of Fairborn, OH., Juanita Litteral of Falcon, KY., Opal Jean Howard of Newark, OH., special friends, Randy and Jean Slone of Marion, OH., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin, Ed and Earnest Bo Conley, and one sister, Louise Conley.
The Funeral Service for Alberta will be Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Russell Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
