H. Frank Quibell age 89 of Green Camp, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012.
He was born May 12, 1922 in Watford, England to the late Harold and Lilly (Ratcliff) Quibell.
On October 3, 1942 in Watford, England he married Joan S. (Lancaster), she preceded him in death on December 15, 2009.
Frank was a Veteran of The Royal British Army from 1940-1946. He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1955.
He was a member of Emanuel Reformed Church in Green Camp for fifty years, Lions Club of Green Camp, Senior Citizens Center of Green Camp, Senior Citizens Center of New Bloomington, V.F.W. Post #7201. He retired from American Malleable after twenty-seven years as a molder.
Frank will be remembered as a sweet, kind man and a proper English Gentleman.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Susan (Darus) Bumgartner of Marion, two sisters, Muriel McHugh of Green Camp, Glenys Bosart of Marion, six grandchildren, Lisa (Scott McKee) Smith, Rich (Angel) Oswald, Todd Quibell, Brian (Tina) Quibell, Tamie (Erin) Lambert, Melissa (Phil) Kinley, nine grandchildren, Grant, Tyler, Hannah, Alysa, Alyson, Carson, Aubrie, Kyle, Ty, daughter in law, Nancy (Ted) Napier of Mt. Gilead, honorary daughter, Sherry Bargar of Marion, special friends, Harold and Ruby Iams of Big Island.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Joan and his son, Colin F. Quibell.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 3 PM held at Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. David Lippert officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 1-3 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date in Green Camp Cemetery and Watford, England.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Green Camp Lions Club or Chapel Hill House in care of the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
