Public Meeting Set to Discuss Marion Skate Park

The Marion Parks Department will hold a public meeting to discuss ideas for the design and features for the new skate park to be constructed at Lincoln Park. The meeting will be held at the Recreation Center, 240 West Church Street, on Wednesday, March 28, at 4:30pm.

The City is planning to use Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the concrete pad. The City announced this week that a large private donation was received to help pay for the equipment needed for the skate park.

The new skate park will be located south of Morbitt Hill in Lincoln Park and is expected to be completed by the end of June.
