Harold "Ivan" Culp age 86 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born March 27, 1926 in Marion County, Ohio to the late Arthur and Mrytle (Wittibslager) Culp.
In April 1959, he married Geneva G. (Charlton) Culp, she preceded him in death on September 11, 2002.
Harold was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, was a member of Family Life Church in Marion and retired after thirty years of service at Eaton Manufacturing.
He is survived by two step daughters, Patricia McFadden of Delaware, OH., Judy Crabtree of Marion, OH., six grandchildren eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step daughter, Linda Peterson, a brother, Lester, four sisters, Iona, Margaret, Dorothy, Agnes and a great grandchild.
Funeral Services for Harold will be Wednesday, April 18, 2012 @ 1 PM at Family Life Church (582 Lee St. Marion, Ohio) with Rev. Thomas Toney officiating. Burial will follow at Larue Cemetery with the Marion County Veterans Council conducting a military service. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, April 18, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
