Martha E. Dulmage age 89 of Lima, Ohio and formerly of Marion, Ohio, passed away Tuesday June 26, 2012 at the lima Convalescent Home.
Martha had been a Marion resident for sixty years prior to moving to Lima in 2006. She was born September 18, 1922 in Zion, ILL., to the late Elmer L. and Ethel (Rothweiler) Ford. On June 12, 1942 in Zion, ILL., she married Ralph E. Dulmage and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1999 in Marion.
Martha was retired as an L.P.N. after 40 years, retiring from the Community Nursing Center. She also worked at various nursing homes, Marion General Hospital, and the Smith Clinic over those 40 years. She was a member at Faith Baptist Church in Elida, Ohio, a past member of Berean Baptist Church of Marion for twenty-five years where she also served as the Womens Prayer Group Treasurer during that time there. She was also involved in other church activities while at Berean.
Martha is survived by a daughter and a son; Judy E. Haley of Marion, Ohio, and Duane (Brenda) Dulmage of Lima, Ohio. Four grandchildren survive; Ted Parish, Heather Haley, Jeff (Sarah) Dulmage, and Lynn (Brian) Jamros, and four great-grandchildren. A sister, Eleanor Neal of Milwaukee, Wis., also survives as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Martha was preceded in death by two sisters; Rosella Craig, and Dorothy Ford, and two brothers; Eugene and Merle Ford. Funeral Services for Martha will be Friday June 29, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Berean Baptist Church, 131 Marion Cardington Rd. E., Marion, Ohio. Officiating the service will be Rev. Charles Reed. Burial will follow in the Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Thursday June 28, 2012 from 5 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The Gideons.
