Marion Sex Offender Wanted for Failing to Register

As part of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine's regular efforts to get wanted, convicted sex offenders off the streets, he is now alerting the public to a sexually oriented offender who has not registered his address for nearly a year.

According to public records, the last time Christopher Stacy made contact with Marion County deputies was in August 2011, when he registered himself as homeless.  A warrant was issued for his arrest the following month.

The 46-year-old served time in prison on a 2004 conviction for Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor.  Records list the victim in that case as a juvenile female.

Stacy is 6'00", 180 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Christopher Stacy should contact the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at 855-BCI-OHIO (855-224-6446).
