Lila Louise Carver, 88, of Huntington, IN., passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, at the home of her daughter, Roxanna Krumanaker, in Marion, OH. She attended Huntington High School.
Lila was born on December 24, 1923 in Huntington to Garr and Grace (Reed) Scott. On October 31, 1942 she married Marion Carver; who preceded her in death in September of 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Roxanna (Kent) Krumanaker of Marion, OH and her son, Douglas Carver of Huntington. Also surviving are her four grandchildren Kimberly (Steve) Tolnar, Kelly (Tim) Flinchbaugh, Kip (Tiffany) Krumanaker and Krista Krumanaker. She has 6 great-grandchildren, Dilan, Christopher, Sara, Lauren, Olivia and Luke. Preceding her in death, along with her parents, are her husband Marion Carver, her son Gary Carver and her brother Richard Scott.
Lila was a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She devoted her life to caring for her family. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. No calling hours will be observed.
