Loretta A. Wright, age 70, of Mount Gilead, died on Sunday evening, December 11, 2011, at her residence following a two year illness.

Born March 11, 1941 in Pike County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles Woodrow Roosa and Bertah Marie (Rapp) Roosa Stillion.

A lifelong resident of Marion, OH, Ann was born on  September 2, 1937 to the late Malcolm H. and Margaret J. (Lehman) Larkin.

Franklin D. Hollingsworth, age 81, of Mount Gilead, died early Sunday morning, December 11, 2011, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital.

On July 28, 1930, Franklin was born at home in Morrow County, one of seven children of the late Charles and Effie (Edgington) Hollingsworth.  He attended Sparta Schools.

James R. “Jim” Crissinger, 61, of Marion

James R. “Jim” Crissinger, age 61, of Marion, died early Sunday morning, December 11, 2011, at the Community Healthcare Center following a three year battle with cancer.

On May 29, 1950, Jim was born in Marion, Ohio, one of thirteen children of the late Harold and Kathryn (Zwolle) Crissinger.  He had attended Pleasant Schools.

William P. “Bill” Coon, 80, of Marion

“Disability is a matter of perception.  If you can do just one thing well, you’re needed by someone.”  This was true of Bill Coon, whose will and determination made him a productive member of society every day of his life despite his challenges.

William P. “Bill” Coon, age 80, a lifelong resident of Marion, died peacefully and suddenly on Friday afternoon, December 9, 2011, at his residence after having a wonderful day at work at MARCA Industries.

Pastor Roy D. Gifford age 65 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born January 6, 1946 in West Union, Ohio to the late Starlen and Naellie Gifford.

On April 20, 1963 he married Lucille D. (Colvin) Gifford.

On July 22, 1925, Mr. Schroeck was born to the late Philip and Elizabeth (Winschel) Schroeck in Erie, Pa.

JoAnne Elizabeth (Jacobs) Tevis, 72, of Marion

JoAnne Elizabeth (Jacobs) Tevis, age 72 of Marion, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 after a long battle with cancer.  She passed away at Lake Wales Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

JoAnne was born December 12, 1938 to the late Carl and Henrietta Mae (Hedges) Jacobs at their home near York Center.  She attended school at York Center and through consolidation, spent her high school years at Byhalia.
