Last Chance to Vote for Ohio Statue

Saturday is the last day to vote for a new statue that will represent Ohio in the U.S. Capitol's Statuary Hall.

The state is seeking to replace the statue of William Allen, a 19th century congressman and governor who supported Southern slave owners and portrayed blacks as savages.

Students Participate in Pilot Netbook Program

City Schools Free Lunch Program at 16 Locations

The Marion City Schools are once again partnering up with area groups and agencies to provide free lunch and activities to kids in the Marion area. There are no income or residency requirements to get a free lunch; you just have to be between the ages of 1 and 18.
