Fred F. Haas, age 79, a lifelong resident of Marion, died Monday evening, November 21, 2011, at the Marion General Hospital following a three year battle with cancer.

On September 10, 1932, Fred was born in Marion, one of three children of the late Fredric and Sylvia (Roesch) Haas.  He graduated from Marion Harding High School in the Class of 1950.

Donna M. Mcelroy, age 93, of Marion, OH passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born on July 14, 1918 to the late Harley and Mary (Roohan) Mcelroy.

NCC Floyd M. Jones II, USN-Retired, of Rockport, TX, died Saturday evening, November 19th, 2011 after a 4-1/2 year battle with lung cancer.

Floyd was born November 1, 1942, in Montgomery, WV, to Nada Florene Cavendish and Floyd Milton Jones, Sr.

Garry Nathan Curren I, passed away peacefully Monday morning, November 21, 2011, at Marion General Hospital. He had been ill for awhile but his death was unexpected.

He was born the third son to Charles W. and Eleanor L. Curren in Marion, OH on August 21, 1940. They preceded him in death along with his brothers, Charles Curren, Vernon Curren and his sister-in-law Wilma Taylor Curren and his wonder dog Salt.

William L. (Bill) Powell age 72 of Prospect, Ohio, passed away Saturday November 19, 2011 at his residence.

Bill was born August 19, 1939 in Apollo, Pa. to the late Linus and Marie (Shick) Powell.

Raymon F. Anderson, age 81, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at The Laurels of Norworth in Worthington, Ohio.

Ray was born on November 4, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Joseph Edwin and Genevieve (Hartman) Anderson.

Roy Daniel French age 65, Caledonia, passed away on Sunday Morning November 20th, 2011 in the Dayton Veterans Medical Facility.

Roy was born July 27th, 1946 in Ironton, Ohio the son of the late Charles & Garnett (Abrams) French.

Paul Lee Nauman, age 73, of Chesterville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 17, 2011, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident after being hit by a drunk driver.

Paul was born at the family farm near Chesterville on June, 2, 1938, the son of the late Albert N. and Florence I. (Reynolds) Nauman.  He graduated from Chesterville High School in the Class of 1957.

John Harville Adamson age 67 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Friday November 18, 2011 at his residence.

He was born July 30, 1944 in Nashville, Tn. to the late Joe D. and Lorene (Stevenson) Adamson.

On July 28, 1967 he married Joyce A. Young and she survives.

Edmund Joseph Walsh of Worthington, OH. and formerly of Marion, OH. entered Eternal Life in Christ on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Manor Care in Westerville.

Born in Early, Iowa, on July 2, 1926, he passed away after a lengthy struggle with respiratory difficulty and heart failure.
