Donald R. Schrote, age 83, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Partners of Marion.

Donald was born in Richland Township on January 1, 1928 to Harvey Wesley and Lillian L. (Beckel) Schrote.

He was a graduate from Cardington High School in the class of 1946.

Paul Edward McKenzie, Sr., age 57, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Marion General Hospital.

Paul was born in Marion, Ohio on February 11, 1954 to Edward and Beulah Marie (Cantrell) McKenzie.

Gerald W. “Jerry” Stringfellow, age 70, of Marion, died peacefully on Sunday morning, October 16, 2011, at the Kingston Residence following an extended illness.

On June 27, 1941, Jerry was born in Orville, Ohio, the son of the late A. Doyle “String” and Marie (Tyrell) Stringfellow.

Louis E. “Lou” Erwin, age 81 of Richwood died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the OSU Hospital East in Columbus.

He was born July 10, 1930 in Westerville to the late Chester “Sam” Erwin and Pauline (Carothers) Vance.

Clarence C. Brunton age 82 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Sunday October 16, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

He was born February 25, 1929 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Dale and Mabel (Wastier) Brunton.

Robert P. "Bob" Martin age 67 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 at Woodside Village in Mt. Gilead, Ohio.

He was born November 3, 1943 in Lansing, MI., to Bettie (Reynolds) Brooks and James Erskine, his mother survives in Marion.

Delores “Doris” Jean (Myers) Gerfen, age 64, of Waldo, died Saturday morning, October 15, 2011, at her residence following an extended illness.

On April 25, 1947, Doris was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Garland and Nora (Jacobs) Myers.  Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Marion County for her father’s work and she graduated from River Valley High School in the Class of 1966.

G. W. Jerry Stringfellow, age 70, of Marion, died Sunday morning, October 16, 2011, at the Kingston Residence of Marion following a two year illness.

Richard Russell “Rusty” Hoover, age 39 of Richwood, died unexpectedly Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Morrow County Hospital.

He was born July 21, 1972 in Marion to Richard Robert Hoover and Cindy (Southard) Hoover.

Glenna Marie (Perkins) Albright, age 84 of Marion, died Friday morning, October 14, 2011, at the Heartland of Marion following an eight year illness.

On May 30, 1927, Glenna was born in Jackson, Ohio, the daughter of the late Samuel and Effie (Gillam) Perkins.
