Donald H. “Pat” Patterson Sr., 90, formerly of Edison

Donald H. “Pat” Patterson Sr., age 90, formerly of Edison, died Monday evening, September 26, 2011, at the Woodside Village Care Center following nearly a ten year battle with Alzheimer’s.

On October 16, 1920, Donald was born in Alexandria, Ohio, the only son of five children of the late Wilbur and Hazel (Penn) Patterson.

Born Ida Lee Wright on June 11, 1941 in Greenwood, Mississippi to the late Nellie E. Wade and John Cleveland (JC) Wright Sr., Ida was given the nickname of Dimples (Dimp) because of the deep dimples she would display each time she smiled.

Peggy Kimberling, 76, of Mount Gilead
