Opal M. Brammer-Lamb age 75 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 at her residence.

She was born February 6, 1936 in Marion, Ohio to the late George F. and Ruth M. (Pierce) Schmidt.

Grace E. Spillman, age 82, of Marion, went to be with the Lord early on Friday morning, May 27, 2011, at the Community Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.

On June 23, 1928, Grace was born in Claridon Township of Marion County, one of four children of the late Seymour and Helen (Gay) Bibbee.  She was raised in Marion and graduated from Marion Harding High School in the Class of 1946.

Darlene Meade age 76 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 at Marion General Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born September 17, 1934 in Grayson, KY., to  the late Ran and Myrtle (Elliot) Carroll.

Philip Frederick Messenger age 78 passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, May 25, 2011.

Born in Marion to the late Genevra (Rice) and Miles Messenger.

Philip was the youngest of eight children, he graduated from Harding High School class of 1950, he played football, baseball, and loved fishing. Later in life he was an avid golfer.

John Martin Blashinsky, Jr. went to be at peace with the Lord, and his family that have gone ahead, on Thursday, May 26, 2011.

John was born on May 20, 1935 in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania. He celebrated his 76th birthday on Friday with his friends at the Kingston Memory Unit.

Alma “Jean” Stansbery, age 78, of Edison, died unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday morning, May 26, 2011, following a brief illness.

She was born on August 23, 1932, in Upper Tiger, Kentucky, to the late Edwin and Flossie (Smith) Clark.

Our precious mom, Geraldine D. “Gerry” Sharrock, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday evening, May 23, 2011.

For most of her life, she lived in Mount Gilead, and in recent years she resided at Olentangy Woods in Galion.

She was born in Marion County on January 20th 1928 as the daughter of the late Willard & Bertha (Graff) Gruber.

Phyllis Steffey age 71 of Defiance, Ohio, passed away Monday May 23, 2011 at the Brookview Health Care Center in Defiance, Ohio.

She was born June 20, 1939 in Superior, Ohio in Lawrence, Co., to the late Solomon and Mary (Wilson) Large.

William “Bill” L. King passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 23, 2011 at Marion General Hospital. He was 67 years old.

Bill was born May 12, 1944 in Marion to the late Maurice and Jane Burnett. Bill was adopted and raised by Herbert and Audrey (Davis) King.
