Catherine E. Boyd passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at 9:15 PM at Marion Manor after a brief illness. She was 96 years old.

Catherine was born September 28, 1914 in Union County to the late Arthur and Delia Grace (Potts) Erwin. She married Harold Boyd in Marion on August 10, 1962. Harold passed away January 3, 1986.

Dirk “Scott” Malone, age 46, of rural Marion passed away unexpectedly Wednesday at his home.

Scott was born in Marion on March 27, 1965 to Jerry and Lana (Hunt) Malone Stidam.

Pauline R. James, age 93, a lifelong resident of Chesterville, died Tuesday evening, May 10, 2011, at the Morrow County Hospital Extended Care Facility following a five month illness.

On September 9, 1917, Pauline was born on the family farm in Chesterville, the daughter of the late James and Marie (Shipman) Buchanan.  She graduated from Chesterville High School in the Class of 1935.

Clarence M. Wright age 87 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

He was born November 1, 1923 in Summit Station, Ohio to the late Clarence E. and Eda (Monroe) Wright.

Mary L. Dailey age 66 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Marion Pointe Nursing Home.

She was born July 19, 1944 in Marion, Ohio to the late Clarence E. and Mary E. (Madison) Hornbeck.

Sally Jo Livingston Smith, age 61 of Richwood died Friday, May 6, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born May 16, 1949 in Kenton to Mabel (Warner) Reece and William Richard Livingston.  On April 1, 1996 she married Don Smith.

James C. Neal, age 76, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2011.

Born in Greenville, PA, to Fred Neal and Alice (Weldon) McConnell.

Roger D. “Road Dog” Mayhew, age 49, of Marion, died unexpectedly late Saturday evening, May 7, 2011, at his residence following an apparent heart attack.

On March 8, 1962, Roger was born in Logan, West Virginia, the son of the late Charles “Buck” and Pearl (Browning) Mayhew.

Doris Evelyn Schmidt Kellogg, age 87 formerly of Caledonia passed away Saturday morning May 7th, 2011 at Partners of Marion.

She was born November 9th, 1923 in Marion as the daughter of the late Frederick & Ruth Merwin Schmidt.

Walter Raymond Beatty, age 95, of Mount Gilead, passed away Friday evening, May 6, 2011, at the Woodside Village Care Center.

On March 24, 1916, Walter was born in Chesterville, Ohio, the son of the late Walter Franklin and Leola Lucille (Holt) Beatty.  He was a graduate of Cardington High School in the Class of 1934.
