Estella Irene Hess, age 92, of Galion and formerly of Mount Gilead died late Wednesday night, January 5, 2011 at Millcreek Nursing in Galion.

She was born on December 24, 1918 in Morrow County the daughter of the late Hiram K. and Ethel (Newberry) Van Dorn.

John Eugene Douglas, age 41, of Marion, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2011.

On May 6, 1969, John was born in Kenton, Ohio, the son of the Paul and Barbara (Broughton) Douglas.

John married Teresa Douglas on June 10, 1993.  He absolutely adored his children and grandchildren.

Darrell B. Collins, age 94, of Wooster and formerly of Marion, went to be with his Lord and his wife on Monday morning, January 3, 2011, at West View Manor Nursing Home in Wooster.

Darrell was born on January 18, 1916, in Marion County, near Waldo, the son of the late Stanley and Elpha (Kerr) Collins.

Steven T. Crissinger age 57 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his residence.

He was born October 3, 1953 in Marion, Ohio to the late George and Elenora (Peirson) Crissinger.

Mary Catherine McGuire, 95, of Marion passed away Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Grant Medical Center as a result of an automobile accident that occurred December 25, 2010.

She was born April 17, 1915 in Marion to the late Seth and Maude (Moats) Makeever. She married Leslie McGuire October 16, 1936 in Morrow County. Leslie past away in 1979.

Miriam Schorr, age 84, of Miamisburg, and previously of Marion, died Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Rittenhouse Senior Living in Middletown, Ohio.

She was born on May 26, 1926, in Mount Victory, Ohio the daughter of the late Edward and Salina L. (Olen) Cottrell.

Vivian Joy Houpt, age 87, of Marion died late Thursday night, December 16, 2010 at Marion General Hospital.

On October 25, 1923, Vivian was born in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of the late Randolph B. and Violet (Carlson) Hancock.

Eva N. O'Day age 88 of Akron, Ohio, passed away Monday January 3, 2011 at the Barberton Citizens Hospital in Barberton, Ohio.

She was born October 4,1922 in Flora, Ill. to the late James and Agnes (Lindsay) Lewis.

Alice A. Sheets, 61, Marion, died on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born on July 28, 1949 to Thomas and Margaret (Ball) May in Grundy, Virginia.
