Elizabeth C. Slack, 94, formerly of Marion, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at the Wesley Glen Retirement Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Charles Cole Kibler, age 83, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday afternoon, June 16, 2010, at the Community Healthcare Center following an extended illness.

On August 16, 1926, Charles was born in Sulphur Springs, Ohio, the son of the late Francis and Lola (Cole) Kibler.

Doris Jean Dunn, 67, Marion, died on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Partners of Marion Care and Rehabilitation Center. 

She was born on August 8, 1942 to the late Harvey and Eleanor (Armstrong) Dunn in Marion.

Dorrance J. Retterer, age 75, formerly of Waldo, went to be with the Lord early Thursday morning, June 17, 2010, at the Arbors of Delaware following an extended illness.

Maxine L. "Micky" "Ditty" Wilson age 81 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Marion General Hospital.

Maxine was born November 6, 1928 in Caledonia, Ohio to the late LeRoy C. and Esther L. (Landes) Bowers.

Esta H. French, 82 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Wednesday June 16, 2010 at his residence.

He was born December 26, 1927 in Lawrence Co., Ohio to the late Jonas and Maude R. (Caldwell) French.

On July 2, 1948 in Catlettsburgh, Ky. he married Della Mae (Childers).

Rachel DeSimone, age 84, of Marion, died Monday morning, June 14, 2010, at the Marion Manor Nursing Home.

On May 20, 1926, Rachel was born in Marion, the daughter of the late Miles and Geneva (Rice) Messenger. She graduated from Marion Harding High School in the Class of 1944.

Steven D. Bauer, age 59, of Marion, went to be in God’s care on Saturday evening, June 12, 2010, at the Marion General Hospital, due to complications from a fall he suffered several weeks ago.

On August 15, 1950, Steve was born in Grady Hospital in Delaware, Ohio, the son of Naomi (Mautz) Bauer Duprey of Marion and the late Frederick Bauer.

Kenneth R. Kearns, age 59 of Marengo passed away suddenly Sunday evening, June 13, 2010.

He was born on May 27, 1951 in Kenton and was a graduate of Highland High School in 1969.  Kenneth worked as a assembler for both Ranco and Liebert Corp.

Debbie Sue Axline, 57, of Marion passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning June 12, 2010 at her residence.

She was born April 4, 1953 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio to the late Carol and Ruth Leeper. On December 18, 1999 in Marion she married Steve Axline.
